To create these I took 2 photos of my friends hand, and then took a photo of a rock hitting the water so I could use the splash to manipulate into the photo of the hand to make it seem like the water was coming out of his hand, to do this I took the splash photo into photoshop and edited the levels and darkened the background, I then dragged this photo into another photoshop document which had the hand photo in it, I then used the 'Blending options' and selected screen which then got rid of the background of the splash, after this I just tidied up the image and made the photo black and white and made part of the have color.
